Project Caliban is the working title for our first game. It’s a narrative-driven fantasy RPG which blends dramatic 3D turn-based combat and interactive 2D storytelling using beautiful graphic novel style panels.

Here’s a little bit of writing from the world of Project Caliban to whet your appetites for the story to come.

That’s from the First Book of the Ancients. I’ve no idea what it means but it sounds good, don’t it? All weighty like and profound.”

“Now where was I? Oh yes that’s it. We forget. The world turns and history gets all muddled and confused. F’rinstance no one remembers that the world is actually called Tellu’hias not ‘Tellurin’. Tellu’hias in the first tongue, the language of the Ancients, means the ‘Breath of the Creator’. ‘Tellurin’ in our common tongue means ‘dirt’. You see how it happens? How things get muddled?

“Now, most often it’s by accident, but I don’t know if that’s worse than if you muddle things up on purpose. It seems sort of disrespectful to just forget the past. At least with a lie, especially a dirty great big one, you know someone’s made an effort.”
